shatil

shatil is Hebrew and means young plant - a seedling. The learning chavurah of bet haskala is a steady circle for everyone who wants to grow more deeply into Jewish life.

Whether Jewish or not yet Jewish: we learn from one another, invite teachers in and shape the path together.

A chavurah is an informal Jewish circle of friendship: people sharing community, carrying responsibility and growing together.

Good to know

People who join shatil and are not yet Jewish can also walk the path of status recognition or giur (conversion process) within the chavurah - accompanied by the community and the rabbi, at their own pace. Speak with Rabba Anita Kántor about it.
