What guides us
A place of encounter with respect, music, prayer, Shabbat and Jewish life.
A small community with a personal atmosphere and participation.
Community grows where people share responsibility.
bet haskala
bet haskala was founded in 2014 and is the only community in Berlin that is a member of JLEV – the Jewish Liberal-Egalitarian Association, an organization within the Central Council of Jews in Germany.
Our shared understanding of liberal, progressive and egalitarian Judaism and our ethical compass connect us. From this grows a community life that is open, reform-oriented and participatory – with a clear commitment to diversity, belonging and Jewish practice in Berlin.
